Digital research at DOOH: infas 360 uses complete solution of digital large surface with integrated camera from Samsung and mobile data transfer from Vodafone for innovative frequency estimation and identification of target groups
Whether in the pedestrian zone in front of the shops or as digital billboard in the shop: Digital out of home media (DOOH) as interactive advertising medium becomes more and more interesting. Along with Samsung (technology partner) and Vodafone (M2M solutions), infas 360 presents for the first time a full integrated and digital research solution at Europe’s greatest market research trade fair Research&Results 2015 in Munich.
The optimal advertising circulation is basically very simple: A digital large screen (e.g. diagonal > 2 meters) is to be fed dynamically with target group specific content. Mobile broadband serves as interactive data transfer. “The advertising medium with integrated camera collects necessary, target group specific information, and transfers these bidirectorally back to the analysis server”, says Marc Büsgen, Head of Connected Products at Vodafone Global Enterprises. Combining these data with further data of infas 360 GmbH, the subsequent transferable content can be optimally controlled both frequency and target group specific.
The new Samsung Smart Signage devices with integrated SoC present the technological basis for the integral solution and are currently entering the market. The attached content management system "Magic Info", also developed by Samsung, has proved successful many times in out-of-home screens, says Joachim Wieczorek, Manager Business Development IT Display at Samsung Electronics GmbH.
On October 28, 2015 infas 360 presents the DOOH solution for the first time at Research&Results in Munich.
